White Christmas

The snow continues to fall and we are still without tire chains.  I got “cabin fever” yesterday so Jason shoveled the driveway so we could get out and do some last minute Christmas shopping.

We think it’s hilarious and adorable that Lila recently picked up this new smile (who knows where she picked this up).  We call it “stink face.”  She smiles as usual, but at the same time, she scrunches her nose and eyes as if something she just saw was funny and stinky!  This ‘lil gal has so much personality.

Pacific NW Blizzard 2008

Here are a few pictures of our winter weather this year.  Today we get a break, then tomorrow another system is supposed to dump more snow or freezing rain.  Yikes!!!!  We didn’t get chains for the car, so we are stuck here for a while.  They predict this weekend we may get a warming trend and maybe we can get out on the roads again.  So much for finishing up our Christmas shopping this week…

Two Butts, One Size

Can you believe that both Miles and Lila wear the same size 3 diapers?!  We knew eventually (like when they are 5/6 years old) they would be wearing close to the same size, but not this soon.

Not too fat, not too skinny, not too short, and not too tall…aha, our perfect tree!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

The weather outside is frightful, but it’s so delightful to see all the snow.  Our plan today is to stay inside and keep warm.  If it stops snowing, maybe we’ll go outside and build a snowman.

Here is a photo of the kids taking a bath together.  Makes giving them a bath so much more fun and easy these days!

Watch out- Big Boy on the Loose!

A little boy is enjoying his new toddler bed.  Last night, Miles got out of bed 8 times after putting him down for the night.  Jason was at rehearsal last night so I was on my own with the kids.  I think Miles took advantage of the fact that mama is a softy.  By 10pm last night, I fell asleep and Miles was still up.  Jason got home around 11pm and I woke up, panicked, thinking that Miles was still up running around or decided to fall asleep on the kitchen floor.  Daddy found Miles sleeping soundly in his bed.

Big Boy Bed

Tonight, daddy converted Miles crib to a toddler bed.  I went upstairs to check on Miles, just to make sure he didn’t fall out of his bed.  Miles looks snug as a bug in bed.  Sweet dreams! Zzzzz
